In connection with all work, method statements, risk assessment and Safe Plan of Action (SPA) are prepared. These are reviewed with those affected before starting work, so that everyone knows the safety measures and how the work is carried out.
An active SPA is a systematic and step-by-step review of all risk elements in connection with a specific work task. The intention is to be able to anticipate and prevent the risk of injury BEFORE the work starts.
To the extent that we become aware that special work areas require focus and safety, an SPA is created which is implemented before the work begins.
